Prof Martin Goodman has written a book on the reception of Josephus’s Jewish War. The book has been published (in October 2019) in the Princeton University Press series on the “Lives of Great Religious Books”.
Prof Tessa Rajak is preparing a book on the reception of Josephus between Jews and Christians in England and America. It will have a focus on the remarkable fortunes of Whiston’s Josephus translation (1737). It’s to be published by Harvard University Press in 2017.
